  • I offer a flexible pricing model designed to meet the unique needs of mental health providers. For certain services, such as business formation, trademark filing, or copyright registration, I charge flat fees. These flat-fee packages provide transparency and allow you to know the total cost upfront, so there are no surprises.

For more complex or ongoing legal matters, such as responding to subpoenas, handling licensing board complaints, or drafting contracts, I charge an hourly rate. This ensures you only pay for the time and resources required to address your specific needs.

I’m happy to provide an initial consultation to discuss your legal concerns and determine the best pricing approach for your situation.

  • Ever heard the phrase, “a big fish in a small pond?” According to Merriam Webster, it means “a person who is very well known or important in a small group of people but who is not known or important outside that group.”

When you operate a solo practice or a small business, it can feel like the services available are not scaled to meet your needs. It can feel like you are a tiny fish in a big, wide ocean. But you have legal needs that deserve to be met at the scale you’re comfortable with now. What if we don’t have to be big fish? What if we’re two reasonably sized fish in a reasonably sized body of water? Maybe we don’t even aspire to be big fish? Thriving doesn’t have to mean growing. Maybe we aspire to be well-rounded fish with solid work-life balance? Maybe we can create a community of like-minded fish? That sounds like fin, I mean, fun.

  • Good question!

Currently, the flock of Kelmans’ Cluckers includes eight chickens:

Buttercream (cream legbar), Reese’s (Sicilian buttercup), Peanut Butter (austrolorp), Jelly (austrolorp), Advil (mystery), Aleve (olive egger), Chip (silver-laced wyandotte), and Diane (blue wyandotte).

  • My relationship with my mother is a work in progress, but the best it’s ever been.

    I like psychoanalysis, too!
